Refund policy
We require the TENS machine to be returned to us within 2 working days of the hire period finishing.
To be eligible for a bond refund, the TENS must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged and all parts included (please discard any used TENS pads), plus be in its original packaging (If the TENS is damaged by the courier there is no penalties for you).
To return the TENS, please package up the TENS and all parts included in the hire (throwing away used TENS pads), and drop off at an NZ Post pick up point, or deliver to Glowing Birth HQ as discussed prior. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [498 South Head Road, Helensville 0874]
You can always contact us for any return question at Holly@glowingbirth.co.nz.
Damages and issues
- Bonds are $50 and refunded once machine has been returned and in good working order.
- We have part charges for damaged or missing parts: Missing lanyard $10, broken wires or missing Lead Wires $25 per set
- A missing Birth Comb is $18
- A damaged/faulty TENS machine is no bond refund
- A TENS lost on the courier – adequate time has to be given for the parcel to be investigated by courier company. So long as it has been scanned by the collecting courier then there shouldn’t be a reason for the bond to be withheld.
- If a machine is lost, I will track it with the courier and speak with them in regards to compensation for a lost machine
- Should the courier have no record of the machine being dropped off for couriering at a NZ Post depot/or drop off location then the bond will not be returned to the hirer
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Used TENS Pads are not to be returned and are not eligible to be refunded if unused.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
Exchanges
We do not allow for exchanges
Incorrect freight selection
Should the incorrect freight selection be made at time of hire, for example you live rural but selected urban shipping then the difference in freight costs will be deducted from the bond refund.
Additional Week hire
Sometimes babies dont come when they are meant to, and thats alright. Please just make contact with Holly, and we can organise an additional week at $22 which is taken from the bond payment
Refunds
Once the machine has been received back and inspected. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days (generally this is within a few days). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Should there be a deduction of any costs for missing or broken parts, you will be advised via Email, then the refund processed, as above.
If there is a problem with the TENS machine you will be provided with information regarding this. Any charges for broken or missing items will be taken from the bond refund, as stated above.
Should Glowing Birth be unable to check over the machine for what ever reason the owner will advise via Email of the delay, this is so long as the client notifies that the TENS has been returned. The owner may not be at her address so wont know that the unit has arrived back on the courier.
If more than 7 business days have passed since you sent your TENS machine back, please contact us at Holly@glowingbirth.co.nz.
