Welcome comfort and calm into your birthing experience with our Birth Pool Hire, thoughtfully selected to support relaxation, movement, and a peaceful birth environment at home.
Warm water immersion can help ease labour sensations, promote oxytocin release, and support your body to labour instinctively - whether you’re planning a water birth or using the pool for comfort during labour.
Dimensions: 165 × 135 × 64 cm - Generously sized to allow freedom of movement and multiple labour positions, while remaining compact enough for most home spaces.
Colour: Oyster White - A soft, neutral tone designed to create a calm, grounding, and serene birth atmosphere.
Material: 0.45mm PVC - Made from durable, high-quality PVC to ensure strength, stability, and safety throughout labour.
Capacity: Approx. 500L - Provides ample water depth for buoyancy, comfort, and soothing relief during contractions.
What’s Included: Birth pool, single-use hygienic liner, electric pump, hoses & connectors, debris net, full setup instructions and 5m of waterproof fairy lights.
Hire Information:
The hire is for 5 weeks. Pool is professionally cleaned and sanitised between hires. Liner is single-use for hygiene. Bond of $50 is included and refunded upon return, pending inspection. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS PICK UP ONLY.

I'm a midwife who works in the Helensville and surrounding areas. I always recommend using a TENS machine in labour. It is an amazing option which is drug free and non invasive. Using a TENS machine in labour encourages your body to release endorphins, your body's natural pain relievers, as well as interrupting pain pathways. Women who use TENS machines feel a lot more in control and I'm always amazed at how effective they are. I wish they had been around when I had my own babies many years ago. Used recently for my recent natural birth of my second baby boy. I hadn't heard/knew much about a TENS machine but I was the lucky winner to a competition that Glowing Birth ran. So I thought why not give it a go.So when my contractions began to get a bit stronger & more regular I thought let's work out how to put this thing on and give it a shot. To my surprise it was a strange tingling feeling which gave me some distraction and relief to help me work through my contractions.I ended up having the tens machine on right up to the point my baby was being born (however at this point I no longer felt the affects of the TENS machine)I am definitely recommending giving a TENS machine a go to all my pregnant ladies.It was awesome for natural pain relief!Terri was also so awesome to deal with and made it easy for me to pick up and drop off after birth.
