Setting up the TENS Machine
Share
Once your TENS arrives, it's best to get it set up. Setting it up early means it's ready to go when contractions start, here are our top tips for doing this:
- Put in a set of batteries
- Connect the lead wires
- Connect the TENS pads (Electrodes)
- Ensure boost button is off
- Test the machine to ensure it's working. This can be done with a set of Trial TENS pads if you have purchased them
By doing these small steps it provides you with a quick application of the TENS machine when you need it.
Remember: The TENS can't be worn in water, so remove the TENS, replace the Electrodes onto the plastic backing, and re-apply when required. You can throw them away if an additional set has been purchased.
